About Loll Hound

We make the beds dogs actually use.

Loll Hound started because Susan — a nine-year-old Labrador — kept dragging her old bed across the living room every night. She wanted somewhere properly comfortable. We listened.

The story

Most dog beds are made for the humans buying them. They photograph well, they look smart on Instagram, and your dog uses them for about a week.

We wanted the other thing — a bed engineered around how dogs actually rest: the half-flop with one paw hanging off the side, the full belly-up sprawl, the winter curl, and the senior-dog sink where joints need to land soft.

So we built The Big Loll — a memory foam orthopedic bed in three sizes, with a removable washable cover and a bolster firm enough to be a pillow, soft enough to disappear into. We tested it on Susan first. Then on many other dogs. It's not a luxury bed. It's a bed that lasts.

What "playful premium" means to us

We don't put silly puns on our products. We do call the bed The Big Loll, because that's what your dog will do with it. We don't claim to cure anxiety — we make a plush companion with a quiet heartbeat that calms new puppies. We don't shout "PREMIUM"; we use real high-density orthopedic foam, machine-washable covers, and back the foam with a lifetime warranty because we believe in the bed.

The brand behind the brand

Loll Hound is a brand by Makree Ltd, an England-registered company. Same team, same standards, all the boring legal bits sorted properly.

Susan, age 9, retired chief tester. Still flopping properly.
